Here is your chance to challenge the UK in debate. Debating Matters, the
exciting national debate programme is back for the second year.
Debating Matters is open to students of Class XI and XII. Pioneered by the Institute of
Ideas, UK, and supported by Wellcome Trust, it aims to be less formal than
the traditional debating competitions whilst being highly rigorous, with a
strong emphasis on students researching their arguments well.

international curator to select its final exhibition at the Whitechapel
Gallery. The Fifth Curator competition is a unique new opportunity
for an aspiring curator to select an exhibition of works from the British
Council Collection. We are looking for someone who is based permanently
outside the UK, who believes they have the passion and knowledge to be a
